Our Story

A Little About My Journey

I’m Michael Paruolo, the founder and owner of Paruolo Electric Inc., proudly providing high-quality electrical work throughout the Hudson Valley for over a decade.

My journey began in high school, where I graduated from James I. O’Neill in 2001 and completed the electrical VoTech program at Orange-Ulster BOCES. After graduation, I gained valuable hands-on experience working for Fred Virgona Electric in Monroe, NY.

In 2002, I enrolled at SUNY Delhi, earning an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Construction & Maintenance in 2004 with an average GPA of 3.6. My studies focused on electric motors, controls, and PLC programming—foundations that have shaped the technical quality we bring to every job.

After college, I joined Pidala Electric, where I spent 8 years honing my skills while preparing to launch my own business. In 2010, I officially founded Paruolo Electric Inc. and earned my Master Electrician License for Orange County, NY the same year.

From there, I expanded my qualifications by earning additional Master Electrician licenses in Putnam County, Westchester County, and the City of Newburgh—a milestone that allowed me to broaden our capabilities and take on more complex commercial and residential work throughout the region.

From Humble Beginnings to a Trusted Name

Paruolo Electric began at 44 Old State Rd, then operated for nearly five years out of my grandmother’s basement on Forest Hill Rd. After relocating to Route 9W, we continued to grow, and eventually I was able to purchase our permanent headquarters at 898 Route 9W in Fort Montgomery, NY, where we proudly operate today.

Committed to Workforce Development

Today, Paruolo Electric Inc. is a thriving 12-person team, built on the core values of hard work, honesty, and getting the job done right.
